(IN)FERTILITY FRIDAY - 5 Month Bumpdate

How far along are you: 20 weeks and 3 days (halfway there!)

Size of baby: Mango. 10 inches (now the length is measured from head to toe not just crown to rump) & 10.5 oz. He is getting so big!

Gender/Name: It's a boy! Can't wait to meet our boy Samuel in 4ish months!

Cravings: I calmed down a little on my out of control eating this month. My current obsession though is sub sandwiches. Jimmy Johns Italian to be exact. Yes I know you aren't supposed to eat deli meat, but my Dr has had one person with listeria in his 35 years of practice and the places I go slice it fresh daily. I wouldn't go to subway per say or even eat it out of my own fridge unless it was a brand new package. I am loving bagels and have gotten back into decaf coffee just cause I enjoy the taste and a cup early in the morning during my quiet time.

Weight gained: 13 total lbs. I am going off of my own scale at home and not the doctors haha

Sleep: I'm sleeping good. Haven't been doing my naps lately so I am out like a light by 10 which is super early for me, but I am sleeping good. As long as I don't drink too much water I can make it through the night without going to the bathroom which is lovely!

Baby Movement: I feel little Bubs all the time. The girls call him bubba and they are so sweet. They talk to him and rub him. Usually when I sit down still for a few minutes he will wake up and give me some kicks to let me know he is in there having a good old time. I love feeling him.

How Mom is feeling: I am feeling great! I am definitely in the honeymoon stage of pregnancy. 15 - 30 weeks for me is usually great. I am not too tired, I feel good and can move around well. I am super excited that school is back and excited for all the fun fall activities coming up! It is my most favorite time of year! I want to just slow down and cherish it all though. I feel like this past month flew! I can't believe I am already doing a 5 month bump date!

Miss Anything: Still Working out. So 2 weeks ago I couldn't handle my lack of definition in my booty and legs. I had to go to the gym to just do some leg and arm machines. It actually felt very good. I can do some basic machines and stay in a little bit of shape. I have stayed away though until the girls are in school because I don't need them getting sick in the nasty kids zone. So hopefully I will go back a few days a week while Blakey is in school.

Nursery Progress: I pretty much have everything I need or have ordered it and just need to assemble it all. I am waiting on a bookcase which is being made for me. Once I have that I can really see the room layout and then finalize where I want to hang things. Hopefully I will have it in a couple weeks and we can finish that up!

Best moment this month: Having a great anatomy scan. The ultrasound tech Gail is amazing and she is so thorough and explains everything. Grammy came with me and thought is was so cool. All looked good with Sam, praise the Lord and my blood tests came back fine so we are looking great! I wish I could have an ultrasound every time just to see him, but I know that is not realistic. I don't think I will get one again for a while. I also loved reading all the sweet words and comments when everyone found out that we were having a boy and his name would be Samuel David!

Looking forward to next month: I am looking forward to it officially being fall next week, decorating my house, football season, and the weather cooling down (wishful thinking). D starts up soccer next week and both girls have joined gymnastics once a week. The real great part about fall is that BSF and my Mom2Mom group starts in 2 weeks. I am ready to get back into a routine with some bible studies. We are nice and busy over here in the McLaughlin house!

Hope everyone had a good first few days back in school! This Mama is loving some free time! XOXO
