Delainey's 1st Easter

We started of celebrating Easter by dyeing eggs and making Resurrection rolls. Delainey is a little too young to really help, but she sat there while I explained what all we were doing and let her taste the finished product:) I told Dave to put her in the highchair so we could dye eggs and this is how I found her. He thought she was really going to be getting in the dye so he got her naked...so cute!

Then Easter morning came and the real fun began. Delainey woke up to an Easter basket that the Easter bunny dropped off. She was very excited to open all her presents!

Then we went to church and out to brunch with Jeff & Kelli and Melissa & Kent. Brunch at KC Crave was delicious. Kind of small portions, but definitely tasty! 

After brunch, we headed to the beach to enjoy the gorgeous weather and do a little Easter egg hunt on the sand. Delainey didn't really get the whole egg hunt deal, but she did love opening them to see what surprises were inside...like reese's peanut butter cups! We had a great time playing today at the beach!
