48 Weeks flew by since it was Spring Break and we pretty much had something going on every day. As far as accomplishments go, we tried some new foods this week and no surprise Delainey liked them all. They were: pickled beets, hearts of palm, and sauteed mahi. She also is starting to say the word no. I am really trying to say no and then explain why so hopefully she is starting to understand that. Other than that she is getting so good with her sign language. We are really working on the ouch sign, but she is great with please now so that's exciting and she definitely tells you when she is ready for her bottle of milk.
This was a picture my friend took of D at last weeks playdate. She was enjoying her first cupcake. Her eyes look amazing!
Here are some other pictures from this week.
On Friday, I headed off to Savannah/Tybee Island for my friend Krista's bachelorette party. There ended up being 10 girls and we had a fantastic time. We stayed at a beach house on Tybee Island. What a fantastic view!
The first night we went out to dinner then came back home to do a little Lingerie game with Krista. We ended up having so much fun at the house that we stayed there the rest of the night drinking and playing Twister. It was awesome!
Then the next day we laid out and then had a Limo come pick us up and take us into downtown Savannah. We had dinner at a place called Jazz'd (highly recommend if anyone visits Savannah) and then ran around top going from bar to bar. Of course we had to go to Savannah Smiles, the dueling piano bar, and get Krista up on stage.
It was definitely a fun weekend, but I sure did miss baby D. Hope everyone else had a great weekend. I will hopefully be back tonight or tomorrow with her 11 month update.
