We needed an ice cream treat to make our shots feel better! :)
Height: 33 inches....85%
Weight: 25 lbs...78%
Head Circumference: 19" 92%
Vision: We are good in this department. Nothing to report
Movement: You are absolutely nuts! It's not that you are that fast yet, its that you are quiet and sneaky and get into everything. One second you are on top of the dining room table then 2 seconds later you are in the bathroom trying to get medicine, then 5 seconds later you have moved a stool to the back door trying to unlock it to go to the pool. You are definitely a climber and you are just now learning to jump off both feet. It is so cute to watch you try to jump, but your feet never leave the ground.
Eating Habits/New Foods: You still drink 2 -3 milks a day and you love your milk time. Occasionally mom gives you juice but most of the day your drinking water. As far as food goes, Breaskfast usually consists of granola bars, yogurt, and fruit. Lunch is cheese (your fave), smoothies, salami, cucumbers, tomatoes, crackers, pirates booty, chips, applesauce, pouches. Dinner is usually what we eat, but you especially love noodles, hot dogs, pizza, broccoli, chicken, corn, and green beans.
Sleeping Patterns: You are sleeping through the night. I think partially because you are still locked in a crib. Once we move you to a big girl bed who knows what time you will be up at. Still 1 nap a day and you sleep for about 2 hours. You wake up at 7:30ish and go to bed between 7:30 and 8.
Sounds/Words: You are communicating in sentences and literally every day you learn a new word. We call you a parrot because you love to repeat anything we say. I love it when you call for your Sissy and say thank you. It is so precious. You can count to 3, say you are 1 when asked how old you are, say everyone in the family's names, and identify a few foods and animals. You are starting to like reading books and especially love flip books.
New discoveries/accomplishments:
-You are a talking machine and can fully express yourself when need be.
-You went to Aunt Emily and Uncle Will's wedding
-You are becoming a pro at timeout and can sit there the entire 1 minute. When the timer goes off, you yell all done and run to me to give me a hug and a kiss and say sorry.
-You are getting good at gymnastics. You can do a forward roll (with a little help), hang from the bars, and hold yourself up in a handstand when mom holds your feet.
-You can jump off of both feet finally.
-You met Anna & Elsa at Epcot and didn't cry!
-You have become very fearful of things lately. Like lizards, toys that move, and stuffed animals that are bigger than you. You did fine though on the rides at Disney.
Places you went/Adventures: Our big adventures this month have been our trip to Disney and Emiy & Will's wedding. You were so precious in your poofy dress dancing at the reception and had a field day square dancing. You no longer like to sit in the stroller at Disney, but thankfully you will still do the chest pack which is a lifesaver for long lines. You had your 18 month shots and cried for a good 30 minutes after. Whenever you get hurt, you milk it for a good week or 2. You will look down at it and point and start crying again. Even once the ouchy is gone. LOL
uClothes: You are in 18-24 month clothes in all brands now. You are still in a size 5 diaper. Size 6 shoe
Sister updates: You guys are definitely best friends and you are obsessed with your sissy. You cry when we drop her off at school and you run to her when she walks in the door after school. You guys play really well together majority of the time. Delainey has learned to have you do things she knows are a bad choice so when I get mad she can blame it on you. You also will fight back when she takes a toy. But overall you 2 are so sweet and kind to each other and I just love watching you watch Delainey and try to do every single thing she does because you want to be just like your big sis!
